Casa Sintra is born from the dialogue between the original rustic character of the dwelling and the demands of contemporary life. The project seeks to harmonize tradition and modernity, integrating the simplicity of the saloia vernacular architecture with a minimalist and clear language.
Set on a plot with good sun exposure and a rural origin, the house is located within an urban fabric in transformation — where countryside and city intersect. The intervention proposes a subtle ground-floor extension, creating a generous social area that opens onto the garden and promotes a fluid, direct relationship with the outdoors, optimizing sunlight exposure.
