The ArchStudioEriceira process arises from the dialogue between three dimensions: a place; a program; a culture.
CULTURE is what we call the reference images and ideas that inspire us. They reveal the atmosphere we aim to achieve in our spaces.
Idea
The Imagery of the Place
It is in the articulation between place, programme and culture that we seek a concept. From the concept emerges an idea of space. It is usually a simple way to (re)organize, (re)build, and transform the place. In the idea development process, affinities are identified, and 'schemes' for space composition are established: hierarchies, functionalities; relationships between interior and exterior spaces. Project
The Prelude to the Work
The project is the planning of the intervention and the work. The development of the idea and its schematic nature. The definition of the formal aspects characterizing the spaces. The project details, precisely defines, and quantifies: dimensions, materials, construction solutions.
Work
Transforming the Idea Into a Built Place
The work is the materialization of the idea. Monitoring the work and construction processes are key factors for project realization. The quality of the project ensures the reliability of construction solutions.

A solid foundation in the Portuguese residential sector—honed at leading firms such as Humberto Conde and Barbini Arquitetos—intersects with a global, large-scale perspective gained in Santiago, Chile, where he joined the team at the prestigious firm ELEMENTAL, led by Pritzker laureate Alejandro Aravena.
From this fusion of international rigor and local sensitivity, ArchStudio’s identity is born: a practice that approaches every challenge with architectural ambition, robust coordination, and a commitment to creating architecture built to endure.
