The Junqueiros House, a typical rural single-family dwelling, sits on the slope of the Cuco River, near Santo Isidoro, in Mafra. The challenge proposed in this project is to rehabilitate the house, update it, and adapt it to a contemporary lifestyle while preserving as many original characteristic elements as possible.
